Being new to the beauty world, I have only just heard of these kinds of boxes, but wasn't really interested because I don't go for fancy items I tend to just stick to easy things, what I know. I kept seeing really good reviews for certain products in this months box, not really knowing that I wouldn't get what I had seen elsewhere!
These boxes cost £10 plus £2.95 postage, I didn't use my own money I had built up some money on paypal and decided to treat myself.
Personally I was disappointed when what turned up wasn't what I had seen on a few reviews. The products are good, just not what I was expecting.
The box itself is very pretty, and I will definitely keep it to store something in.
Onto the products:
Starting from the little perfume.
So Elixir Purple by Yves Rocher France, this is the only part of the box I won't be using and I knew that when I ordered it, I am very fussy with my perfumes, I like ones that smell of sweets, a bit too floral for me.
Essie 'Penny Talk' my review of which can be found here: http://zoesbitofeverything.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/essie-penny-talk-swatch-and-review.html
Dermalogica daily microfoliant, the only time I have used these products was part of a facial, many years ago. This is described as a rice based powder. You put a little on wet hands and it turns into a paste. It feels really nice, its not coarse, suitable for all skin types. I tried it out on my hand and it left it feeling amazing, can't wait to use it properly later.
Lipcote Lipstick Sealer, since I started using lipstick I have been toying with the idea of getting something like this, but I didn't want to buy something I knew nothing about and end up wasting money so feel quite lucky that this was here, haven't tried it out yet, haven't left the house today but next time I do I will be giving it a go.
Finally the Nip + Fab body butter in coconut latte. This smells gorgeous! I am not a fan of coffee but it doesn't really have that much of a strong smell, out of all of the products I would probably go and buy one of these full price, they are £9.95 but they make my skin feel so soft, really impressed with it.
So although I wasn't over the moon with this box, I will make good use out of what I have, but at £12.95 its not really a risk I can afford especially when each box can be completely different to what I have seen reviewed.

Essie 'Penny Talk' Swatch and Review
My very first essie polish! Wanted one for ages but they are just a bit too expensive for me. I had been seeing a few good reviews for the April Glossy Box, which is where I got it from, my review of which can be found Here
Back to the polish!
This one is called 'Penny Talk' its light metallic bronze. I have been after a bronze for a while so I was happy with this.
Essie retails at £7.99 per bottle, ouch! I just cant justify spending that much on one bottle, which is a shame because they have some amazing colours available.
The official website is here: essie and you can also purchase them in Boots stores.
what do you think of this colour?

As you can see, it is quite pale for a bronze, slightly pink tones to it. Is it weird that I love the shape of the brush? The curve is much better than the usual brush shapes. I used 1 coat on my little finger, it is completely opaque but I have all those ridges where my acrylics were so I used a second coat on the rest of the nails. Easy to apply and dried quite quickly.
