Final post of the day! Sorry for the MUA spam.
My favourite eyeshadow palette. When I bought this I was after Dusk til Dawn but it wasn't available and this has all my favourite eyeshadow colours: black, silver, pink and purple.
I had a quick look on the MUA store and it doesn't seem to be available anymore, but I have still seen it in the shops so maybe once its gone, its gone.
For me starry night is the perfect mix, the very first and the very last shades are my favourite, light purples. I wear with the MUA eye primer now and it just makes them stand out and last so much longer.
This is the top row starting from the bottom, left picture is no flash, right picture with flash. Each shade has a shimmer and I just love them, so much. The bottom lilac is the one I am wearing today, lined with the black at the top.
This is the bottom row. Left pic no flash, right pic with flash. The colour at the top of my arm is the other purple that is my favourite. Some of them may look pale, but on they eyes they look so good, especially when using a primer.
Eyeshadow palettes are £4 and really can you get better value?? £4 for 12 shades, amazing. Next I really really want the poptastic one and the pastel one. I haven't seen them in the shops though so I will have to keep looking, until I give in and order online.
Like I mentioned earlier this one isn't on the website, a shame! but I have still seen a few in my local superdrug.
I have never been able to do any kind of art, let alone nail art! The pens I have seen have usually had really thin nibs where the ink just pools out. I was supposed to do this post last night but I wasn't happy with what I did so waited today to do some more.
When Barry M announced their pens though I had to at least give them a go.
It was 3 for 2 on Barry M in Superdrug.. I left the black, but may get it in the future. I was really impressed with them. To get it flowing you have to push the nib down a few times, on a piece of paper or something, its the shape of a felt tip but solid, and the polish just comes down the side. It doesn't leak every where or pool out onto your nail. Very simple to use.
Here is what I came up with:
I have seen the cloud art before and really wanted to try it out! Using Barry M belly in blueberry as a base, not too bad for a first attempt. Think I need to work on my flowers though! Doesn't take long to dry, and I did use 2 coats of white for the clouds. Not the best colour to show up silver though oops. Wish they had brought out a gold, really want a gold.
Nail Art pens are £4.99 available from Barry M, Superdrug and Boots. Get them now while they are on offer!
So what do you think of the pens? Any tips for someone who has never done nail art before??
