Sinful Colours: Timbleberry, Mint Apple and Cinderella Swatch and Review

Another bargain for me today!

My boots points were just screaming at me to be spent, and after the success I had with the first 3 Sinful Colours, I got 3 more! Two of them I saw on another blog that I follow, and I really had to have them, its still 3 for 2 in boots and I had enough points just to get these 3.

First up is Timbleberry - as strange name but it is a really bright red/orange/coral. Its a lot brighter on my nails than the pictures show, quite neon! I only needed 2 coats to cover my nails.

Second is Mint Apple. Not getting apple from the colour but definitely minty. It has a subtle shimmer, which is really nice, I do love a nail polish with a shimmer! Only needed 2 coats to cover the nail, very pleased. I was after a brighter colour, more of a bright teal but when I saw they had this one in stock I had to get it.

And finally my personal favourite of the 3, Cinderella. When I saw this one I really had to have it! The review I read said it needs 3 coats at least, and even though that usually puts me off, I didn't care, I love it so much. I did need 3 coats, and probably could have done with a 4th. Its a baby blue with an iridescent shimmer, had it on all day and it hasn't chipped. It really reminds me of the colour of Cinderellas dress.

Took more pictures of this one to try and capture the tones.

Sinful Colours are £1.99 available from Boots, and get there before the 3 for 2 deal is over, how could you not!

Used any Sinful Colours yet?

Sinful Colours: Winterberry, Gorgeous and Innocent Swatch and Review

Sinful colours launched in Boots not that long ago. The Boots in Manchester has a stand full of them, they are £1.99 each which is amazing! and at the moment its 3 for 2. I did delay buying them because I thought that perhaps they would be too thin, but I have been pleasantly surprised by them, and while I have enough points on my advantage card to get 3 more, I think I might!

First up is 'Winterberry' I would describe the colour as mauve, and it has a subtle shimmer. I didn't need to worry about the consistency because it was opaque in 2 coats, thats my kind of polish. Didn't take long to dry, but I can't comment on its durability because I was trying all 3 on in the same day.

I am still playing around with my camera, the second picture was an attempt at a macro shot. The skin around my nails is a bit awful at the moment too, had to blur it out haha.

Second colour, which is just amazing is called 'Gorgeous' nicely named. I would perhaps describe it as a metallic aquamarine. I have managed to capture how in one light it looks a vibrant blue, then in another its almost teal. Slightly two tone. This was also only 2 coats!

Had to take quite a few photos because I really love it. As you can see in the photos above, in direct sunlight its a bright blue, then without the direct light, theres a definite green tone to it. Below playing around with macro shots again, you can see the different colour tones with it.

And finally is 'Innocent' A lime green with slightly yellow tones. I really love the colour in the bottle.

I just think its so bright! This was only 2 colours, I still can't comment on the durability but I have had it on for a few hours and its been ok so far.
