MUA Nail Polish: Lush Lilac Swatch and Review

Second of todays nail polishes from MUA: Lush Lilac.

This is definitely my favourite of all the pastel shades, I just think it suits me really well, not just this one but there is a Barry M one which is slightly darker.

 Lush Lilac is gorgeous! It has slightly pink tones in some lights, I hope you can see how its favourite of all the pastels. Same application as all other MUA polishes, the first coat is quite thin, but two coats sort it out fine, I am using 2 coats here, it could possibly do with a 3rd because its slightly patchy, if I was going out I would put on a 3rd. Dries quickly. Part of the new MUA range with the super cute mini essie bottles, the small brush I found awkward the first time I used it, I have large hands, but now I can use it fine.

Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Nail Polish - Tangy Tangerine Swatch and Review

Just digging through my collection of swatches that I have written up, got my nails painted a nice colour so the new ones I got today will have to wait.

I got this a few weeks ago, it was even before London there was 3 for 2 on Rimmel in superdrug. I needed a 3rd and because I don't own a pastel orange I thought I would try it. 

I like this colour, its not too in your face orange. I used 2 coats to cover the nail, I didn't use a top coat either so that shine is from the polish.
I would like to see this with a matte finish, really need to get a matte top coat but the only one I can find is Bourjois and thats a little bit expensive! 

Rimmel can be purchased in Boots and Superdrug, the nail polish is £2.99 each.

This feels like a really short blog, what am I missing out?

MUA Nail Polish Pistachio Icecream Swatch and Review

Oh I have been so bad at this since I came back from London! Just sat at home wishing I could go back.. september...

Also had a bit of a rename of the blog.. oops. Even though my next few posts are nail polish related, I changed it because I want to talk about more than just nail polish sometimes I was feeling to restricted. I just got an Avon catalogue so expect an Avon post once a month! Has anyone else ever felt like that?

Any way last week I decided to get one of the new MUA bottles, I think they're quite cute! only £1 and some really nice shades, love pastel colours at the moment. This one really does remind me of pistachio ice cream, one of my faves!

Apologies for the state of the application, not very neat, I did find the tiny brush hard to use but I haven't had much sleep this week, poorly child, that will be my excuse. Quite a thick polish it was almost opaque in one coat. I prefer the new bottles, a round lid is much easier to use than a square and they look like mini essie bottles - a brand that is too expensive for me! I think its a really nice colour.
