MUA Power Pout - Rendezvous

This will be the first of 3 MUA related posts today, to make up for the lack of them recently. I bought this new power pout today (and the other posts will be things I already own), it seems to be the least available of the power pouts in the 3 Superdrugs that I use.

Todays shade is 'Rendezvous' the packaging would have you believe its a neutral shade, but it is actually pink! Its a really nice pink, my favourite of the 3 that I own.

Its really annoying how I can't seem to take photos of my lips! On me, this colour work really well, if I do say so myself, its just a little darker than my actual lips so adds a nice gloss to them. Same as the others I can detect a hint of mint.

Power Pouts are available for £3 at Superdrug and MUA Store, and you just cannot beat them. I haven't even tried any of the expensive brands others say this is like, because I just don't need to.

3 more of the collection left to buy, and I think I might just get them all :)

MUA Power Pout - Crazy In Love

This is the second power pout I have bought, and had to practically go on a mission to buy it! One superdrug in town didn't have it, but the one in the arndale did, but only just!

I am obsessed with MUA, at least once a week I pick up something new because they are such good quality for the price. I got the eye primer the other day, how have I never had one of those before, its great.

Out of all the lip products I own, I wear these the most, they feel nice and they don't fade easily.

Today I got 'Crazy In Love' a nice purple, I have wanted a purple for ages but they are all really dark and I might as well be wearing black. This one isn't very dark at all, not as dark as the packaging.

I can't take photos of my lips, they just look odd so arm swatches it will have to be! Shown here in 2 different lights. I never see it mentioned so it might just be me, but I swear they have a little minty taste to them at first.

Power Pouts are available from Superdrug and MUA cosmetics, they only cost £3! I do keep meaning to pick more up but my local Superdrug doesn't have many. Not sure which to get yet.

Have you got any of the power pouts?

MUA: Lipstick, Power Pout and Intense Kisses

So yes I am doing a non nail polish related post!

I am completely new to lip products, but since I started blogging and following other blogs I've been really tempted to try new things. My main issue with lipsticks is they usually make my lips feel dry, and with lipgloss they feel sticky.

Today I went to superdrug and got a massive bargain, didn't cost me a thing because I had points on my superdrug card, and I somehow ended up with Power Pout for 1p! As this is definitely new to me I would really appreciate any tips, my lips just seem to be naturally wonky, I think its the piercings!

Ok first is Power Pout:

This is 'Irreplaceable' The power pouts are a new product, available online for a while and I have been waiting for them to come into the store, £3 each they are. They don't leave my lips feeling dry at all, and it has a really nice minty scent to it, this is a really nice shade of pink.

Next the lipstick:

The MUA lipsticks only cost £1!! I could have been there forever deciding which shade to go for, this is called Shade 5, this is one of the first I picked up and it has a little shimmer to it, and I was after a light pink so decided to go for it. At that price I can go get some more. Again this one feels really nice and doesn't feel dry after time. The bottom unscrews to a little lip balm as well, totally worth the price!

Finally the Intense Kisses Lipgloss:

These lipglosses are £2 and I went for 'Sweet Nothings' a bright pink. I didn't really like applying this, it was a bit streaky, dabbed the excess off onto tissue and it looked fine, yet again it doesn't feel sticky, the quality of these products for the price is so good, I am totally in love with this brand at the moment.

Have you tried any of the MUA lip range? any favourites?
Any tips are welcome as well :)
