Zoya Zuza Review and Swatch

Ok so this is my first post.
Just a tester really to see where I can improve. I will be getting a better camera soon, at the moment I am just using my iPhone.

The first polish I tried was part of the Zoya 'Surf Collection'. This is one of the more expensive nail polishes I will show, mostly they will less than £5. I got this as part of a grab bag from http://www.polishedcriminails.com. It is available from http://www.zoyapolish.co.uk RRP £10.50

It is a really nice colour for spring and summer. Aqua with a silver shimmer, which I have tried to capture on the image as best as I could. It was opaque at one coat, but I applied 2 out of habit. I used rimmel 60 second top coat. I love this colour and I love anything with a shimmer, especially enough to look like a foil. If I had the money I would be tempted to buy other colours from this collection too, they are all gorgeous.

So as it is my first post, I would like some feedback please, so I can edit accordingly, and take on for next time.

  1. welldone Zoe. I don't have much use for nail polish myself, but I'm sure my daughter does so I'll point her to your blog.

  2. Hello! For a first post, it's already loads better than many blogs out there! Nice clear photos. :) And a lovely colour.

I really really cannot recommend this post by the Nailasaurus enough:

What I can't see is a way to follow you? If you go to the Add a Gadget in your Layout, you can add various ways, eg follow by email, follow by Google Friend Connect (that's the one I have, the one showing little icons for all your followers, plus a button to click to follow) and so on.

    4. I don't think it's a problem to have your name - I don't think I would, but many people do.

It's worth adding a way to follow on Google Friend Connect, I think it's what a lot of people (me!) use. I've just checked my blog and the gadget thing is apparently just called Followers, which isn't very helpful! If you go into the Add Gadget field though, and search for Google Friend Connect, there's one called Members which seems to be the same thing.
